Falcon flies in Captain America TWS

It is hard to keep up with Summer Superhero movies now that Captain America the Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spiderman 2 have already been released and Xmen Days of Future Past comes out this Friday, so I have only just now gotten around to showing pictures of our newest miniature character from Cap's film. Falcon is Cap's superhero partner in the movie and this minifigure took quite a while to complete due to his details and mechanical wing jetpack, but that just made him one of the coolest wrightworks miniatures so far!

Of course I needed to do some photoshopping to erase the wire holding him in the air. He is supposed to fly after all!

And that is why jetpacks need to be real! Falcon is awesome!... more summer superhero stuff to come- the wrightworkers will be busy.

Cap fights Crossbones

The new movie "Captain America the Winter Soldier" may have been released about 2 and a half weeks ago, but we are not done creating our minifigures of characters from the movie! The newest one is Crossbones, or as he was known in the movie, Brock Rumlow, which is his alter ego. Though in the movie he does not actually become the villain "Crossbones" yet, I made his traditional comic book mask so he could still look like a villain. Hopefully Rumlow will don the mask in "Captain America 3", which comes out in 2016, but for now I will just have to be content with the design from the comics... oh well, it looks great anyway!

Now, in case you were wondering, when I called it a mask, that did mean that it is removable! The mask is made of paper folded and glued together meticulously, and underneath is the face of Brock Rumlow!

And even more- his vest is removable to reveal a more movie accurate costume; the crossed straps are meant to resemble the crossbones image he wore on his chest in the comics, hence the villainous name.

But here comes Cap- to him, Rumlow is an ally but if you have seen the movie, you know that doesn't last...

Go ahead and try Crossbones, you can't keep up friendly appearances forever!

Captain America vs the Winter soldier

The new Captain America movie has just been released in America so in celebration I have taken some photos of our new Winter Soldier figure fighting the newly made Captain America figure, this one being the WWII uniform version. I based the images off of some actual stills taken from the new movie, so now you can see them in miniature form!
I included the movie images for comparison. Stay tuned for more Wrightworks creations from Cap 2!

The Winter Soldier Arrives

As promised... more photos of our foam figures from the Captain America the Winter Soldier movie, Which arrives to theaters in 3 days! This is the Winter Soldier himself, a deadly assassin with a metal arm and a mysterious past! And to find out what his relation to Cap is, you'll have to see the new movie! (of course if you've read the comics it is common knowledge). The Wrightworkers aren't done yet, there will be more characters soon...

Captain America the Winter Soldier

     Well it has been a while since our last post but now is a great time for another one since the newest Marvel movie, Captain America the Winter Soldier, is only 8 days away from it's release in America! So in preparation, we, the Wrightworks bros, have created our own miniature foam figures of the characters in the movie! Here is the first of them, Captain America himself, wearing his S.H.I.E.L.D. agent uniform. More pictures will soon follow...
